WWE announces storyline suspension for Drew McIntyre

Adam Pearce has suspended Drew McIntyre.

WWE filmed a scene after last night’s Money in the Bank PLE where McIntyre interrupted the post-show panel, angry at CM Punk for interfering during his MITB cash-in attempt. McIntyre punched several WWE officials who tried to stop him, including Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.

Pearce released a video on Sunday announcing that he had fined both McIntyre and Punk an undisclosed amount for their actions and suspended McIntyre indefinitely.

“The elephant in the room. Everyone saw what happened at Money in the Bank and afterward. Therefore, after careful consideration, I hereby impose an undisclosed fine on CM Punk and Drew McIntyre for their actions. I am also officially suspending Drew McIntyre indefinitely for putting his elbow in my teeth. More on that live tomorrow night on Raw,” Pearce says in the video.
