List of all teams banned from the semi-finals

Spain will have to do without two crucial players in the match against France.

The semifinals of Euro 2024 have been decided: Spain will face France and England will face the Netherlands. Only two teams will survive and reach the final of the competition. Many players will miss their respective national teams’ semifinal match after being suspended for yellow cards in the last two matches.

Spain were the worst affected, with a total of 16 players receiving yellow cards in the match between Germany and La Roja. Spain will suffer the most, with few of their key stars set to miss the semi-final match against Les Bleus.

Daniel Carvajal and Robin Le Normand are the two players. Carvajal received a red card for a second yellow card in the last seconds of extra time. Due to his second yellow card at the Euro 2024, Le Normand will not be available for the decisive semi-final match against France.

Initially, there were fears that Alvaro Morata might not be able to take part in the semi-finals of the 2024 European Championship because of television reports that referee Anthony Taylor had shown him a yellow card during the exuberant celebrations for Mikel Merino’s victory that evening.

France did not receive a yellow card against Portugal, which will be a great help to them in their match against La Roja. In addition, Adrien Rabiot will return to the starting line-up after missing the match against Roberto Martínez’s side due to suspension.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands and England will have all their players available for the decisive semi-final match.
