2 die in murder in Crest Hill, which is considered another isolated case

CREST HILL – Crest Hill police posted a vague announcement on Facebook Sunday morning that did not reveal any details about a homicide investigation that appears to involve the deaths of two people, sources told Joliet Patch.

The Facebook post said: “The Crest Hill Police Department is conducting a homicide/death investigation that occurred in the 2400 block of Red Oak Trail. This is an isolated incident and there is no further threat to public safety. We will release more information following the autopsy.”
