Tributes for Minnesota Vikings cornerback Khyree Jackson are pouring in online.

Yesterday (July 6), 24-year-old Khyree Jackson – who was playing his first season for the NFL team Minnesota Vikings – and two of his friends, Isaiah Hazel, 23, and Anthony Lytton Jr., 24, were involved in a car accident in Upper Marlboro, Maryland at around 3:15 a.m.

The trio had been teammates in high school and were traveling in a maroon Dodge Charger when it collided with two other cars.

State police report that her vehicle was hit by a silver Infiniti that was “driving at high speed” and “attempted to change lanes.”

The Infiniti is said to have first hit the Charger before hitting a Chevrolet Impala.

The occupants of the other vehicles are said to have remained uninjured.

According to a Maryland State Police press release, Hazel and Jackson were found dead at the scene of the accident and Lytton died after being taken to the hospital.
