One dead after motorcycle accident in Orangeburg County

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – Police are investigating a collision Saturday night in Orangeburg County that left one person dead.

Shortly after 10 p.m., a person was driving a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle south on Highway 301 near Short Road.

According to police, the driver veered left off the road and crashed into a fence, suffering fatal injuries.

The Orangeburg County Coroner has not yet released the identity of the deceased.
