1 dead, several injured after incident in VT-Haus

According to police, one man was dead and several people were injured in an incident at a home in Vermont.

Vermont State Police said St. Johnsbury police received a report of an altercation that occurred at a home on Cottage Street before 6 a.m. Sunday.

Police said officers found one man dead and several others apparently injured. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and their condition is unknown, police said.

The police stated that this was an isolated incident and that no danger to the public had been identified. They also assumed that all those involved knew each other and were arrested.
