Shooting in Hartford leaves woman in critical condition

Early Sunday morning, a woman in her twenties was seriously injured in a shooting at Charter Oak Place in Hartford.

HARTFORD, Connecticut — Around 2 a.m. Sunday morning, Hartford police responded to reports of a shooting in Charter Oak Place. Officers said they found a woman in her 20s with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.

Police say this is believed to be a domestic incident and they are actively searching for the suspect. The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Units are currently investigating the situation.
