51 people arrested in massive raid in Southern California

51 suspects were arrested in Southern California in a multi-million dollar drug and theft bust.

The operation, which spanned three counties, was conducted by the San Bernardino Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force along with other local agencies.

Authorities searched several locations and arrested a total of 51 suspects.

During the raid, a stash of illegal and stolen goods was discovered, including:

  • Stolen cargo worth $8 million

  • $325,000 in cash

  • 425 pounds of methamphetamine

  • 48 gallons of liquid meth

  • 20 stolen vehicles

  • 20 rifles and handguns

  • 1 functioning meth lab

Photos of the raid show that the stolen goods were stored in a warehouse. In addition to the confiscated firearms, officers also found a considerable amount of ammunition.

The 51 suspects arrested face numerous charges, including serious crimes related to train break-ins, stolen vehicles with reversed VINs, operating a meth lab, possession of meth for sale, child endangerment, possession of assault weapons, conspiracy and more.

The identities of the suspects have not been disclosed.
