Shocking new details about the rape and murder of Sudanese toddler Janet in Egypt

ALBAWABA – Three months ago, social media users were shocked by the story of the Egyptian man who brutally raped and killed a Sudanese child. Yesterday, the court held its second session in the case and revealed shocking new details.

Janet Goma, the ten-month-old Sudanese baby, was found dead with signs of sexual abuse in a park in Nasr City on April 19, the refugee platform in Egypt first reported.

According to the sources, Sudanese toddler Janet lives with her family in Madinat El-Amal in Nasr City and was reported missing before she was found dead.

The Egyptian Public Prosecutor’s Office published a decision which, among other things, calls for “speeding up the police investigation into the incident, conducting an autopsy on Janet’s body, preparing an autopsy report with information on the cause of death and conducting a drug test on the suspect.”

The Egyptian man who committed the gruesome crime was arrested by the Egyptian authorities and put in prison while the court prepares sessions to reveal all the details of the case.

During the second session of the Giza Criminal Court on Saturday, a psychiatric report revealed a surprise in the case of the murder and rape of Sudanese child Janet in Egypt: it confirmed the integrity of the killer’s mental faculties.

At the beginning of the hearing, the court had before it the psychiatric report, which confirmed that the perpetrator was fully sane and aware of his actions at the time of the crime.
