Suspect identified in shooting death of attorney at west Houston McDonald’s, HPD says

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Charges have been filed against a man wanted by Houston police in connection with the fatal shooting of a Houston attorney at a west Houston McDonald’s restaurant Saturday evening.

Anthony Martin Landry, 57, has been charged with the murder of Jeffery Limmer, Houston police announced Thursday.

HPD believes Landry is the suspect who shot Limmer after a verbal disagreement at a McDonald’s on the 8147 Katy Freeway service road around 6 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses said Limmer was trying to call the suspect who was unhappy with his order.

Limmer, 46, a partner at a Houston law firm, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect fled the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck from the early 2000s. Police said Landry remains at large.
