Palmyra man charged with drunk driving after crash in Wayne County – Finger Lakes Daily News

A car accident in Palmyra early Saturday morning led to the arrest of a Palmyra man.

While investigating the accident, officers noticed the odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage on Colin Vanhaneghan’s breath, as well as bloodshot, watery eyes. Vanhaneghan was given a standardized field sobriety test and subsequently arrested. According to the sheriff’s office, Vanhaneghan provided a breath sample that showed a blood alcohol content of 0.11%.

Vanhaneghan was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to obey a stop sign. He will appear in Palmyra Municipal Court again at a later date to answer the charges.
