School principal allegedly raped 10-year-old student in Karachi

On Saturday, the headmaster of a school in the Moach Goth district of Karachi is said to have raped a ten-year-old student.

According to police officials, the incident resulted in a report being filed at the Mochko police station following a complaint by the victim’s father.

The First Information Report (FIR) states that the father had mentioned that his three daughters were being taught by the school principal. “On June 21, the school principal called and asked to send our daughters as he wanted to give them Eidi. After my initial refusal, he insisted and asked me to send my daughters,” the FIR states.

After the incident, the girl was also examined by a doctor. The police said they are waiting for the report.

The victim’s parents and local residents protested against the suspect’s failure to arrest on Hub River Road. The protest caused traffic disruptions.

In a similar incident last month, the principal of a private school was arrested for torturing and harassing a student. He was accused of attempting to rape a Grade 10 student at the school near Orangi Town.
