Malappuram local arrested for sexually assaulting woman on train – KERALA – CRIME

KOTTAYAM: A man was arrested in Kottayam for sexually assaulting a woman on a train. The arrested man has been identified as Muhammad Faizal, a native of Perinthalmanna in Malappuram. The incident took place on the Rajya Rani Express.

After Muhammad Faisal attempted to sexually assault a woman from Malappuram in a train, the woman filed a complaint against him. A team of railway police led by Reji P Joseph, the superintendent of railway police in Kottayam, arrested the accused.

He was later brought before the court and remanded in custody.
