Man thrown from truck and killed after rollover in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – A man was killed Saturday morning in DeKalb County when he lost control of his truck, rolled over and was thrown from the car, police said.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m., officers were called to Memorial Drive and Rays Road in Stone Mountain for a report of a single-vehicle crash. When officers arrived on scene, they found the truck overturned and the 55-year-old lying in the roadway.

According to police, he suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died. Accident investigators are trying to determine how the truck got out of control.
