Waukesha man arrested on four counts of drunk driving, Janesville police say

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WIFR) – A Waukesha man was arrested after reportedly driving away from police officers multiple times, who said the man was showing signs of impairment.

Janesville police said they attempted to stop 31-year-old Kyle Conery around 10 p.m. Friday when they saw Conery driving away from a home in the 400 block of South Jackson Street. Conery reportedly sped down East Racine Street.

Several officers reported finding Conery driving west on East Racine Street near Garfield Avenue before Conery allegedly sped off again.

Police said they found him at a gas station on East Milwaukee Street and arrested him. He reportedly showed signs of impairment, but the results of Conery’s blood test are pending.

Conery faces a fourth drunken driving charge. He is also charged with fleeing from an officer and driving after a suspended license.
