It was humid this morning and the high humidity was expected to continue into the afternoon. Daytime highs will continue to be warm, peaking in the 80s, but felt temperatures will be in the upper 90s and possibly triple digits! Stay hydrated when spending time outdoors.

There is a 40% chance of an isolated shower and thunderstorm this afternoon, with the chance remaining highest for inland counties. Some of these can be severe to severe.

The chance of storms increases overnight. We are tracking the potential for damaging wind gusts, heavy downpours, golf ball-sized hail and a single tornado. The best time for the storms is between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The rain should clear up tomorrow morning.
