26-year-old man killed in traffic accident in Burlington County

A 26-year-old Maple Shade Township man was killed in a traffic accident in Burlington County on Friday, police said.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on I-295 South in Westampton.

Two vehicles were traveling south when a Land Rover driven by Nicholas Schroeder struck a guardrail and collided with a GMC SUV.

According to authorities, the Land Rover hit several trees and overturned.

According to police, Schroeder died in the accident. The other driver was uninjured.
