Klickitat County suspect arrested in Kennewick, wanted on charges

Benton County detectives were able to locate and arrest a wanted suspect from Klickitat County and another suspect.

The man was wanted for several crimes

On Friday, July 5, Klickitat County (Ellensburg) charged the suspect with aggravated possession of a weapon, drive-by shooting, and first-degree assault, and he also had a Department of Corrections (DOC) warrant out for his arrest.

Less than three hours after the warrant was issued, the BCSO Pro-ACT team located the suspect’s vehicle, which can be seen at the Motel 6 near Columbia Center North.

According to BCSO, the room was cleared using a drone and the arrests were made afterwards. According to BCSO:

“The suspect was arrested on the alleged charges. A second man was also arrested for escaping custody through DOC and a firearm was also found on him. A new charge (felon in possession of a weapon) was filed against the second man.”

The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.
