Lioness actor Mike Heslin has died at the age of 30, says his husband

Mike Heslin, known for his work in lioness And The holiday proposal plandied. He was 30.

Heslin’s husband, Scotty Dynamo (born Nicolas James Wilson), shared the news via social media on Friday, July 5, saying the actor died on Tuesday, July 2, “from an unexpected cardiac event following a week-long battle in the hospital.”

“Michael was young and in excellent health and the doctors have no explanation for what happened,” Dynamo continued.

He shared an Instagram carousel of photos of Heslin at different points in his life – starting with a relatively recent solo portrait. The post also included the couple’s wedding photos and pictures of Heslin as a child.

Dynamo remembered Heslin as “brilliant, selfless, talented and a true guardian angel.”

The grieving spouse recalled how Heslin had helped him “through several waves of cancer.”

“He was the first person everyone called to share good news and he was the perfect person to turn to when you needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice,” Dynamo said in his lengthy tribute, adding that Heslin was “the kindest, most caring and loving man on earth.”

“Michael, meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I felt your last breath, my heart broke into a million pieces. If I had the power to trade places with you, I would do it in a heartbeat,” he continued.

According to Dynamo, the couple were “in the early stages of starting a family” and had recently even started going through “favorite names for our future children.”

His wife added that it had also been Heslin’s dream to be a donor, and that through his death he could give “four different families the gift of life.”

Finally, Dynamo noted that the couple is “3 weeks away from your birthday and 4 months away from our first wedding anniversary.” He ended his heartfelt post with a quote from Shania Twain: “‘I will love you forever and ever.'”

Following Heslin’s death, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to cover funeral and hospital expenses and to provide support to Heslin’s family.

Friends and family members remember the late actor as someone who always helped others.

“There are many ways to define a person and their impact, and Mike is so many beautiful things to so many people. But the word we keep coming back to is helper. In Mike’s spirit, it’s time for us to be the helpers,” campaign organizers wrote.
