Two teenagers arrested in connection with burglaries in Mars Hill

Aroostook County Sheriff’s officials have arrested two 17-year-old juveniles in connection with a series of burglaries in Mars Hill.

The break-ins occurred during the evening hours of July 2 and 3 at Mars Hill Redemption Center, Al’s Diner and Timberwolves Restaurant, according to the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office. All three businesses were broken into and various items were stolen from each store.

The two teens were identified through surveillance images. They were tracked down and arrested on Friday. Both teens were charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of theft by unauthorized taking or delivery, and three counts of criminal damage.
