Man killed in shooting in Pittsburg on July 4

(BCN) — A man was shot and killed in Pittsburg late Thursday night.

Pittsburg police said they received a call at 11:54 p.m. that someone had been shot in the 200 block of West 10th Street.

The police found a man with several gunshot wounds.

Officers immediately rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived, but the victim died at the scene. Police said the victim’s identity is being withheld due to the ongoing investigation.
