Officials with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office have launched a homicide investigation after a 13-year-old girl died Thursday. According to OCSO, officers responded to South Rio Grande Avenue in Orlando around 2:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a young teen had been found unconscious. Upon arrival, officials said, the girl, 13-year-old Rose Thalie Dieujuste, showed obvious signs of trauma. She was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. Investigators say they are working tirelessly to uncover information about the girl’s murder. No additional information was immediately made available.
