Woman: Woman attacked by cow dies | News from Chennai

Chennai: A 29-year-old woman from Papireddypalli in Tiruvallar succumbed to her injuries after she was attacked by her own cow. The incident occurred when Kanniyammal was leading the cow to graze in her backyard. According to reports, Kanniyammal was pulling the cow with the help of a rope tied around her neck when the animal suddenly turned violent and attacked her. She fell on the ground and sustained bleeding injuries. Villagers who witnessed the incident rushed to Kanniyammal’s aid and administered first aid to her. She was later taken to Rajiv Gandhi Govt General Hospital for further treatment. She succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. Kuppan, the victim’s brother, filed a complaint with Tiruttani police. The investigation is on.
