2 men arrested for alleged trespassing in San Elizario

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, two men were arrested Tuesday, July 2, after entering two properties in San Elizario without permission with the intent to commit theft.

The sheriff’s office said officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Jute Dr. in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two men, 41-year-old Arturo Reyes and 25-year-old Jose Duran, who had entered two properties without the consent of the owners to commit a theft, according to the sheriff’s office.

Both men were later booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on trespassing charges and held on $2,500 bail.
