Single-vehicle rollover accident with serious injuries in Ceres

According to preliminary police investigations, the driver was apparently trying to overtake several vehicles when he left the road and his SUV overturned.

CERES, Calif. – A 31-year-old man is in critical condition following a rollover accident on July 4.

According to Ceres Police, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hatch Road and Eastgate Boulevard.

When they arrived, police found an overturned silver CRV and a 31-year-old man inside with serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is critical. His identity is not yet known.

According to preliminary police investigations, the driver was traveling westbound on Hatch Road when he attempted to pass several vehicles on the right side of the road. He lost control of his vehicle and it overturned after leaving the road.
