St. Vincent: One dead and 14 injured in car accident

Tragedy in St. Vincent and the Grenadines: A man was killed in a car accident, which resulted in several other people being hospitalized.

The deceased was identified as Arman Miller, 61, a resident of Layou. He was a passenger in a minivan.

According to a report by the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), the fatal accident occurred on Thursday at around 8pm along the main road Rillan Hill, Pembroke.

Preliminary investigation indicates the minivan left the road. The driver, a 39-year-old Diamond resident, and 13 passengers were taken to Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) to be treated for injuries that ranged from severe to minor.

To determine the exact cause of death, an autopsy will be performed on the deceased Arman Miller.

The RSVGPF states that it is committed to thoroughly investigating the cause of this accident and identifying all contributing factors.
