Teenager stabbed, man hit by car and killed in RI – NECN

A 21-year-old man was hit and killed by a car and a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Cranston, Rhode Island, police said Friday.

According to NBC affiliate WJAR, the incident occurred after midnight at the intersection of Oak Street and Trainor Street.

When officers arrived, they found the teenager stabbed in the back, Cranston police said. The suspected stabber then got into the passenger seat of a car driven by another person and fled.

The 21-year-old was then hit by the car and later died at Rhode Island Hospital, police said.

According to police, two people were arrested and arraigned in Kent County District Court on Friday.

The incident remains under investigation.
