One dead, two injured in Independence Day motorcycle crash in Anne Arundel County – Baltimore Sun

One person was killed and two others were injured in a motorcycle accident in Anne Arundel County on Thursday.

At approximately 9:11 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 4 northbound (Southern Maryland Boulevard) near Talbot Road in the Lothian area.

The investigation revealed that a 2015 Dodge Charger was traveling north on Route 4 when the driver made a U-turn while a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling north on Route 4.

When the Dodge Charger turned, the Yamaha motorcycle crashed into the Dodge Charger. The fire department determined at the scene that the motorcyclist was dead.

The driver and passenger of the Dodge were taken to a Calvert County hospital. The accident is currently under investigation by the Traffic Safety Division.
