Flack Broadcasting – OCSO: Local man arrested on warrant for alleged domestic violence in spring

FLOYD- A local man is facing a number of charges after he was arrested on a warrant for an alleged domestic incident earlier this spring, authorities said.

Joseph Dunn (age not given) of Ohio Township, NY was arrested Wednesday by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. Dunn is formally charged with each of second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal damage to property, and second-degree harassment.

According to officials, Dunn was arrested Wednesday at his workplace on Soule Road in Floyd Township.

A warrant was issued for his arrest following a domestic incident on May 8. Police had unsuccessfully attempted to contact Joseph in that incident.

During the incident in question, police allege that Dunn violated a court order of protection and endangered the health and life of the protected person, who was riding a motorcycle.

According to police, Joseph followed the victim to her home, where he damaged her vehicle and the property where she lived.

As of this publication, Dunn’s case has been processed, filed and held for arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court, police said.
