Fatal motorcycle crash in Pike County – KXEO

A man from Troy, Missouri, was killed in a motorcycle accident in Pike County on the evening of Thursday, July 4, 2024.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report, the accident occurred on Pike County Road 255 east of Pike County Road 256.

A motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Teven J. Blackwell was traveling too fast for the conditions and performing a stunt when the rider lost control of the motorcycle and struck the side of a parked vehicle.

The motorcycle then left the road, struck a parked trailer and ejected Blackwell.

He was taken to Pike County Memorial where he was later pronounced dead.
