Washington woman arrested on drug charges | KCII Radio

On June 29 at approximately 10:49 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Cedar Rapids Police Department that they had a person in custody who was wanted in Washington County. They arrested Wendee Chalupa, 49, of Washington, on three counts of violation of the narcotics law (a class C felony), three counts of possession of a narcotic (a class D felony), and failure to display a drug stamp (a class D felony). Bail was set at $40,000 and extradition was arranged with the Washington County Jail. Chalupa was later released on bail. KCII will update you with more information as it becomes official.
