Levittown man arrested for fireworks incident that damaged two homes

A 33-year-old man is facing charges after two homes on Red Maple Drive North in Levittown were damaged by fireworks on Thursday.

According to police, Karamajit Singh gave an 11-year-old a firework and told him to light it shortly before 9 a.m.

The fireworks malfunctioned and caused a detached shed in Singh’s garden to catch fire.

According to authorities, the flames spread to both his house and the house next door.

According to police, no one was injured. Singh faces several charges, including arson and endangering the welfare of a child.
