HOUSTON (KIAH) – A 10-year-old boy was airlifted to a nearby trauma center after he was struck by an unknown driver while riding his bicycle. The incident occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m. on July 4 at the intersection of Windy Stone and Concord Green in Katy.

Officers from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and the Cy-Fair Fire Department responded to the call. They found the 10-year-old victim at the intersection with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.
