Man abuses and kills nine-year-old girl in Bhiwandi

In the Govind Nagar district of Bhiwandi, a nine-year-old girl was abducted into a house, sexually abused and strangled. The Shantinagar police have arrested Abhay Yadav (40) in this case. The residents of Bhiwandi are demanding a harsh punishment for the accused.

The girl lived with her parents and siblings in a building in Govind Nagar. About a month ago, they had moved into a room on the second floor of this building. The girl’s mother and father work in a loom factory. While brother and sister go to work in the area. So, the girl is alone in the house. When her father came home on Thursday evening, she was not found in the house.

So her family members and local residents started searching for her. But she could not be found. The local children said that Abhay, who lives on the third floor of their building, used to bring the girl home. So her father went to Abhay’s house. When they opened the door, they found their daughter unconscious. She was immediately admitted to the government hospital in Bhiwandi. On examination, doctors found that she had been sexually abused and had died.

After receiving information about the incident from Shantinagar police, Police Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad’s team started searching for Abhay. At around 2:30 am, he was found sleeping near a loom factory. Police immediately took him into custody and arrested him.
