Cincinnati police say a man is dead after a shooting Thursday night in Over-the-Rhine. Police say they were called to the 1300 block of Walnut Street at 5:49 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Christian Pearson, 45, was found at the scene with gunshot wounds. Police say the Cincinnati Fire Department then began life-saving measures. He was then taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Cincinnati police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call CPD at 513-352-3542.

Cincinnati police said a man was dead following a shooting in Over-the-Rhine on Thursday evening.

Police said they were called to the 1300 block of Walnut Street at 5:49 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Christian Pearson, 45, was found at the scene with gunshot wounds.

According to police, Cincinnati Fire Department personnel began life-saving measures and he was then taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
