COME IN – Calvary Episcopal Church, located at 20 Milton St. at South Cayuga Road in Williamsville, offers a place to stop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday during the Amherst Town Gardens Walk. Master Wood Carver David Miller and others will offer art and history tours of the church and youth will enjoy arts and crafts in the Kryder Courtyard. The Amherst Garden Walk runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

NATURE GUIDE – The Hamburg Garden Club hosted a guided tour of native plants at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve at 10 a.m. Wednesday, led by the preserve’s state Department of Environmental Conservation program coordinator. SUMMER HOUSE – The IMAGINE Buffalo Lecture Series is taking place at Chautauqua Institution for the summer, with speakers every Monday at 3 p.m. in the Smith Memorial Library.
