Teenager sexually abused in Billingshurst

The 14-year-old was walking through Saville Gardens in Billingshurst when she was attacked by a man described as being between 60 and 70 years old.

The man, wearing a dark hat, followed her and walked away after attacking her.

The attack occurred last Friday at 10:30 a.m.

Community Support Police officers have increased targeted patrols in the area and are appealing for information.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to report it to police online or by calling 101 quoting reference 612 of 28 June.
