Hiker rescued on Mount Charleston after heat-related incident

MOUNT CHARLESTON (KTNV) — Officials confirmed a man was rescued from Mount Charleston after he became too ill to continue his hike.

According to Las Vegas Metro Police, search and rescue efforts were initiated for a person suffering from heat-related symptoms.

The area was located on Mount Charleston near Mummy Mountain.

According to LVMPD, the 36-year-old hiker vomited and was unable to continue on foot.
