Ville Platte man accused of raping girl | Crime

VILLE PLATTE, La. (KADN) — Evangeline Parish deputies said a man suspected of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 has been arrested on rape and other charges.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Jordan Vidrine, 26, of Ville Platte, has been booked on charges of first-degree rape, oral sexual battery, and indecent behavior with juveniles.

According to EPSO, he is facing five counts of each charge. He is being held without bond.

Sheriff Charles Guillory said the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries assisted with the arrest on June 24.
