Silver Alert issued for missing 83-year-old Kokomo man

KOKOMO – Indiana State Police and the Kokomo Police Department are searching for a missing 83-year-old man who may need medical attention.

James Umbarger is described as 5’10” tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He drives a white 2000 Cadillac Deville with a blue roof and Indiana license plate UWJ534.

He is missing from Kokomo, Indiana, 50 miles north of Indianapolis. He was last seen on July 4 at 2 p.m.

Umbarger is probably in extreme danger.
