Sick hiker rescued on Mount Charleston

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – A 36-year-old man exhibited “heat-related” symptoms in the Mount Charleston area on Thursday.

FOX5 confirmed the incident to Las Vegas police. Search and rescue crews found the person near Mummy Mountain.

According to police, he felt sick and had to vomit. He could no longer continue on foot.

The hiker is safe, police confirmed.
