“I hate the way you dress”

President Biden’s re-election campaign used Kendrick Lamar’s attacks on Drake to attack Donald Trump by overlaying lyrics to the Compton rapper’s “Euphoria” with lyrical insults about the former president in a bizarre TikTok clip.

The 13-second video, posted by Biden’s official re-election campaign on the China-linked social media app, includes captions such as “I hate the way you talk about women’s rights” and “The way you talk about immigrants talk”.

“I hate the way you dress” and “I hate the way you secretly post diss on Truth Social,” read other captions over pictures of Trump in a tuxedo and looking at his phone.

The Biden team did not edit the lyrics and part of Lamar’s shot at Drizzy can still be heard.

“I hate the way you walk, the way you talk/I hate the way you dress/I hate the way you secretly diss.” If I take flight it’ll be direct/We f—hate you ’cause they’re mistaken for real women/And notice I said ‘we’, it’s not just me, I’m what the culture feels.” says the track snippet used by the campaign.

Lamar’s dissident track stems from a simmering feud between him and Toronto-born Drake (real name: Aubrey Drake Graham), which resulted in both artists releasing songs about each other in recent days.

The rappers had been feuding for years, but the tension escalated after Drake released the song “First Person Shooter” in October, in which J. Cole spat that he, Drake and Lamar were the “big three.”

Lamar rejected the comparison and hit back at Cole in March with his own song “Like That.”

Biden’s re-election team has said it will continue to use TikTok despite the president signing a bill last month requiring the app’s parent company, ByteDance, to divest the app due to its affiliation with the Chinese government.

“A fragmented media environment requires us to meet voters where they are – and that includes online. TikTok is one of many places where we ensure our content is seen by voters,” a Biden campaign official told The Post in April

“With so much at stake in the election, we will use every tool at our disposal to reach young voters where they are,” the representative added, claiming that “enhanced security measures” were being used in the campaign come.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Post.
