Woman who admits having sexual relations with dogs faked her death – Actress Abiola Adebayo

Nollywood actress and podcaster Abiola Adebayo has revealed that a young woman who allegedly took her own life after admitting on a podcast to having sexual activities with her dogs due to an addiction stemming from a past trauma, faked her death.

Adebayo said the woman, identified as Adenike Adewodun, faked her death to avoid public reaction and legal consequences of her actions.

The actress made this known in a statement she posted on her Instagram page on Thursday, titled “Miss Adenike Adewodun’s ‘Fake Death Antics’.”

She wrote: “Miss Adenike’s case, while tragic, is a learning curve for us. She sent a message and was asked to come and we offered to give her therapy and everything but she freaked out and in a very diabolical and
Her death was faked in an ungodly manner.

“After the fake death news, we tried to find her house to express our deepest condolences, but it was difficult to even compose a condolence letter and the presenter and producer Abiola Adebayo was both emotionally and mentally
disturbed for days.”

The actress explained that while mourning her death, she and her team noticed some inconsistencies in the reports surrounding her death and that the investigation revealed that she was alive.

“As we grieved appropriately, we noticed some discrepancies between what her so-called ‘sister’ was telling us and what her friend was saying because we felt something was wrong.

“We sent the director of the show on a fact-finding mission, who spoke to the friend before locating the hospital where she was supposed to have been treated, and we were told on the spot that she had not died,” she said.

Following the discovery, Abiola said the Nigerian police had been contacted, adding that Adewodun and her friend who announced her death had been arrested.

During interrogation, Adewodun confessed that she faked her death because of the public reaction to the podcast.

“Our lawyer petitioned the police complaining about the situation. The police immediately investigated and arrested both Nike and her friend.

“Police were also prepared to press charges, and during questioning, Nike, who admitted she was the one who asked Biola for the interview, said she freaked out because people recognized her and that she felt Biola would delete the video if she lied about being dead.

“Police asked her if she had ever contacted Biola to have the video removed and she said no. Her mother, who was at the station there, confirmed the story,” the statement continued.

In June, Adebayo announced the news that the woman had committed suicide.

Although her emotions were failing her, Adebayo said, “For the first time in my life, I feel like a failure. Nike died. The woman I just interviewed who said she slept with dogs committed suicide. People heard her story. They cursed me. They said we made up the story, that it wasn’t true. I listened to her, but she didn’t tell me she was going to die.”
