Two dead in accident on I-25 near Hatch

Two people have died in an accident on Interstate Highway 25. It occurred just before noon on Thursday. The middle lanes in both directions were closed for nearly two hours and traffic was diverted to New Mexico Highway 187. All lanes have now reopened. New Mexico State Police say a semi-truck and another vehicle were involved, but it is not clear which vehicle was transporting the dead.
