Adrian man killed, three others injured in Fulton County crash

Richard Kinnick, 74, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at the intersection of State Route 109 and U.S. Route 20 in Royalton Township Thursday afternoon.

LYONS, Ohio — One person was killed and three others were hospitalized with injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Fulton County Thursday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Richard Kinnick, 74, of Adrian, Michigan, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at the intersection of State Route 109 and U.S. Route 20 in Royalton Township.

Kinnick was driving an SUV south on State Route when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by another SUV traveling west on U.S. 20 around 1:18 p.m., OSHP said.

A 71-year-old passenger in Kinnick’s vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, OSHP said. The driver and a passenger of the other SUV were hospitalized with minor injuries.
