Police-involved shooting in Queens: 14-year-old dead, several others injured in stabbing in Jamaica apartment: police sources

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) – A teenager is dead and several others were injured, including a young child, after they were stabbed in an apartment in Jamaica, Queens, police sources said.

At around 5:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of an assault and were dispatched to an apartment at 94th Street and Sutphin Boulevard.

According to police, a 14-year-old was killed and among the injured was a small child, possibly a baby, who is expected to survive.

The NYPD is asking the public to avoid the area around 94th Avenue and Sutphin Boulevard due to the police investigation.

No further details were announced.
