Another drone attack on gunpowder factory in Tambov

The gunpowder factory in Tambov was again attacked by attack drones.

Russian media published the video of the attack.

According to authorities, two attack drones targeted the gunpowder factory and were successfully shot down by air defense systems on the morning of July 4, 2024.

Contrary to the official statement, a video posted by a local resident shows one of the attack drones hitting a target on the factory premises.

A column of smoke rose from the impact site, likely indicating that a fire had broken out. Shots from a firearm can also be heard in the video.

There are currently no details about what exactly was hit or what the consequences of the attack were.

It should be noted that on June 20, 2024, an explosion occurred at the site of the Tambov gunpowder factory, killing four people.

At the beginning of 2024, on January 19, the plant was already attacked by an attack drone.

The retaliatory attack was not very successful as the drone fell on the factory premises and did not hit any targets.

It should be noted that since the beginning of 2024, Ukraine has begun extending the range of its attack drones to Russian military and defense industry facilities.

Militarnyi had previously reported that a drone had attacked an oil depot in Russia’s Tambov region and caused a fire.

Officially, it was said that a “small fire” had broken out, which was quickly localized by the deployment of eleven firefighters.
