Former porn actress accuses Sean “Diddy” Combs of sex trafficking and sexual harassment in lawsuit

(CNN) — Adria English, a former porn actress who said she worked for Sean “Diddy” Combs between 2004 and 2009, accused the controversial music mogul of sex trafficking and sexual assault, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday.

The 114-page complaint alleges that Combs and other defendants in the case used English as a “sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial gain of others” during “white parties” at Combs’ homes in the Hamptons, New York, and Miami, Florida. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, also alleges that Combs forced English into “prostitution and sex work” between 2006 and 2009.

The lawsuit is the ninth against Combs since last November and the eighth to directly accuse him of sexual harassment. One of the eight lawsuits, filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, has been settled. Another lawsuit accuses his son Christian Combs of sexual harassment and Sean Combs is accused of aiding and abetting the crime.

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it will not change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually harassed anyone or been a victim of sex trafficking,” Jonathan Davis, an attorney for Combs, said in a statement when asked about English’s lawsuit.

“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without evidence. Fortunately, there is a fair and impartial legal process to find out the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident that he will prevail in court against these and other baseless claims,” ​​the attorney added.

In his lawsuit, English is demanding a jury trial and is seeking unspecified punitive damages.

Combs has vehemently denied the claims in many civil lawsuits, but has not responded to all of the allegations. In December 2023, after four lawsuits were filed against him, Combs posted a blistering denial on his social media, writing that “heinous allegations” had been made by accusers “looking for a quick payday.”

He added: “Let me be very clear: I have not done any of the terrible things I am accused of.”

Federal investigators are also preparing to bring Combs’ accusers before a federal grand jury, two sources familiar with the investigation previously told CNN, suggesting the U.S. Justice Department may be seeking to indict Combs.

Bringing individuals who have filed civil suits against Combs before a grand jury would represent a significant escalation of the government’s ongoing investigation into the producer and founder of Bad Boy Records.
