Death investigation underway in Carolina Beach

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Carolina Beach Police are on scene to investigate a death.

According to a police spokesman, officers were called to a home in the 600 block of Spencer Farlow Drive around 7:40 a.m. Thursday.

One person is confirmed dead and one person is in custody. Police say there is no danger to the public.

Police say investigations are currently ongoing.
