Man found dead near University Avenue in Rocklin

ROCKLIN, Calif. – Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Rocklin on Thursday.

Rocklin police said they received reports of a man lying near the intersection of University Avenue and Larkspur Drive around 6 a.m. It is close to Jessup University.

First responders arrived and determined the man was dead.

University Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Larkspur Drive is closed as the man’s death is investigated. His identity has not been released.
